Probinex Money Show is here!

In other words, what Michal Baturko Olbert, the person responsible for expansion and business development, is working on in Greece.

The fourth quarter will, as usual, be full of challenges. Especially since the last month is largely a holiday period for many people, making business in the second half of December quite difficult, which shortens the quarter even more. Fortunately, there is already a lot to build on in October. So, let's get started.

Probinex Money Show Greece

As you surely know, in the last quarter, I was preparing the Probinex Money Show in Greece – a total of 13 events and conferences across various locations in Greece, through which Probinex aims to fully establish itself in a country that we already consider home thanks to Earnio and the VASP license. And the first stop in Athens is already happening on 19.10.2024, just a week away. The next one is scheduled for two weeks later.

I’m giving high priority to this activity, specifically the expansion into Greece. It’s among my top 3 priorities. You will learn more about the others in upcoming articles. The Greeks already see us as local, and we have also been presented with a massive opportunity to introduce ourselves to a large number of investors in a very concentrated way through these Probinex Money Shows. I have been preparing this since August, when I first flew to Greece for work. Not only to arrange and organize the Money Show but also to meet with the first referrers, through whom pre-informed investors will be invited to the individual events. The result of my first two visits to Greece in August and early September was:

  1. We arranged to participate in the Money Show and for Probinex to be the title partner (meaning that about 20,000 conference attendees in Greece will learn about Probinex).

  2. We finalized the specific "stops" and our participation.

  3. I met with the first 25 referrers, who need to be introduced to Probinex, build trust, and be excited enough to bring their clients and partners to the individual events.

I recently wrote an article explaining why I’m primarily meeting with referrers rather than clients and why the effects of our expansion into Greece “take time”.

Meetings, meetings and more meetings...

As I already mentioned, the first Probinex Money Show is happening in a week, on 19.10.2024. Thanks to the above-mentioned activities, we will have well over 150 participants at our meetings or mini presentations throughout Saturday (in case you're curious about the details: 40 clients at 10:00, another group of five at 11:00. Another group of 8 clients at 12:00 and another 8 at 13:00. Then a large group of 50 clients will come at 14:00, followed by a small group of 5 clients at 15:00. As if that wasn’t enough, at 16:00 I will be presenting Probinex to 20 more potential clients, at 17:30 to a group of 8 large investors, then at 19:00 I will welcome another group of 5 investors, and we will conclude with a presentation from 20:00 to 22:00 for a group of 20 investors.

If I’m calculating correctly, I should be presenting Probinex to 169 potential clients just on Saturday, of which about half will already know about Probinex and will be coming to the presentation specifically for that reason. This is how I envision an efficient day. :)

Considering that the goal of the entire year's activities for expansion into Greece is to meet with 500 clients, with the aim of attracting half of them (250) to be interested in a follow-up meeting, and from those, to interest a third enough to invest, this is a pretty good start for the first "stop."

In the article I referred to earlier, I mentioned that my strategy is to meet with referrers first, not with end clients. Why? Because only this way can I be replaceable, the number of connections can grow exponentially rather than linearly, and every hour I spend in Greece will yield tremendous results. The article also mentioned that in September, I met with 28 potential clients in just 48 hours.

But they were not just ordinary clients. Every one of them was also a potential referrer. And some of them were so intrigued by Probinex that they will bring their own clients to a meeting on October 19, where I will be talking about Probinex. Specifically, 5 referrers will be bringing the mentioned 169 potential clients in total

Those are pretty good numbers, considering that we’re still working and communicating with another 23 clients/referrers from September, right?

Every meeting can open up new opportunities

But I would like to mention one more case from September. I can not reveal his name yet, but I believe I will be able to share it soon. This client, a very wealthy man who owns several hundred companies around the world, from the USA, UK, Poland, Greece, Dubai, to Singapore, plays in the highest league of global business. I had a 20-minute meeting with him in September, during which I had to explain why he should even be interested in Probinex. And I succeeded.

How? By showing him that he could make money with Probinex? Not at all. I quickly identified that more money did not interest him. So, when I introduced Probinex, I spoke about how it could offer solutions for him, his companies and his communities that few players on the market currently provide. And it is always good to have unique solutions at hand for people like him. He liked that. He liked the idea of coming up with something unique.

And now he wants to understand Probinex more, to the point where we will start having 3-4 meetings with entrepreneurs or investor communities recommended by him each month. I will show them how Probinex works. Through their reactions and hearing about Probinex from different perspectives, our new business partner will gain a deeper understanding and become more convinced that Probinex is the right path. We finalized this agreement for the first half-year of cooperation yesterday. It is a done deal.

And I am prioritizing this because I know that we do not come across such a powerful businessman – who, by the way, has had speakers like Richard Branson at the conferences he organized – every day. I would say more like once every year or two at most.

Why do I think that Probinex will succeed in Greece from a business perspective?

Because after 4 years in the Czech Republic, I have learned that to be efficient and allocate my time as best as possible, we have to go through referrers. The ramp-up curve of "ready clients" is slower this way, but the long-term effects will be much greater and more sustainable.

So, buckle up and wish us luck. The Probinex Money Show is here!
